Please choose your age group...

Our lovely ‘Environment’ inspired, large and airy room on the top deck is specially designed with us small Cubs in the forefront of imagination.

Of course, our deck includes all the vibrant essentials for our development, whilst also creating a relaxed environment for us to be nurtured just as you would like us to be!! With sections of mirrors, textures and exploration zones, our room is further enhanced by masses of bright, yet gentle natural lighting; we feel as though we are at one with nature, even when indoors!

Parents’ needs for peace of mind:

Room Specifics:

  • A vibrant environment for your children to grow tall.
  • 83 acres of countryside and woodland (‘gated’ and securAll weather access to the garden and in fine weather…
  • Secure and ‘All Weather’ areas in garden…

  • Socialisation with varying aged Giraffes and Cubs.
  • Key Leaders. Staff whose speciality is your child!

  • On-line weekly ‘Learning Journey’ A photo record and commentary of the development of your Early Year’s Child (coming soon!)
  • Lots, Lots more…

As with the Giraffes, us Cubs progress at our own rate, with gentle encouragement to excel our potential everyday! But it is never forgotten or side-lined that we do things at our own speed, as we are our own individuals! With this in mind, it is difficult to produce an exact hour-by-hour break down of our day, but rest assured that even as little Cubs we have a framework to work towards and our day will always be individually tailored to suit our individual needs.

If at home we have a set routine which suits our parents and carers we try to keep to this; our leaders try to keep sleep and feeding times to the same individually beneficial habits we have at home. We have our very own ‘Sleep Room’ called the ‘Sleeping Lion’ room, where we have comfy cots, monitors and security so we never feel left ‘at sea’ whilst the rest of the Cubs continue to explore. However, there is so much for us to see and do, we don’t want to miss out on what everyone else is doing, so as long as you say it is ok, we might take a nap in our buggy or carrier whilst we are getting lots of fresh air outside!

Every child aboard Noah’s Ark has their own ‘key person’ and they are trained to understand our individual needs through and through and with our daily updates and learning journeys you will never have to feel as though you have missed a part of our day!

We Cubs enjoy the same ‘Great Outdoor’ fun as the Giraffes as our age and stage do not hinder our enjoyment of activities seen as being ‘development’ inspired. So we go and explore the canopy of the woodland areas, enjoy walks in the countryside and feel the soil between our toes at our very own ‘Wildlife and Veg’ plot. We also have our very own sun-shaded area in the garden to enjoy all weathers with the rest of the passengers aboard Noah’s Ark.
